Would you like to become an LGV driver?

Our 10 easy steps towards becoming an LGV Driver:


1. Receive pack in post / Download.

2. Make an appointment for Medical take (Form D4)

3. Complete Licence Application form (Form D2).

4. Return Application Form and Medical D4 & D2 to Swansea in brown envelope provided.

5. Purchase theory test and hazard perception discs or use website.

6. Once you have your provisional licence back from the DVLA call Western Driver Training on 01179 822822 and book an Assessment, this is free if you then train with us

7. Pass the Theory Test! (We can book this on the day of your Driving Assessment).

8. Phone Western Driver Training to arrange your practical driver training course and test.

9. Pass Class 2 (Category C Test).

10. Return Licence and Pass Certificate to DVLA for upgrading, if required.
Commence training for Class1 (Cat C+E).
